Well, my first solo trip went really well - don't know what I was so worriedabout - towed well, everything went ok - no problems at all. Can't wait to do it all over again now.

Hi Granny - yes it is addictive - on way down stayed 2 nights - way back - 5 nights - the freedom to just stop when and where you like, wander around towns discover things - great - just love it.

Seeing what's over the next and around the next bend ............. it's magic! Meeting people, seeing new places, exploring special features of a place, climb to the lookout, walk through the bush to a waterfall, learning about the birds, bees and bushes in the area you're exploring. This travel is an amazing privilege. I can't get enough. Sitting in the camp or even in the caravan park, listening to the new, unfamiliar sounds around you. Even in the towns you hear birds you've never heard before, see birds and plants you've never seen before. All new experiences you absorb and remember for the rest of your life, and share willingly, even enthusiatically with anyone who will, and should listen. It's exciting!

Aw, poor diddums. Think of it as an investment in the diesel fund, or is that "diesel fun"? I'm parked up looking for work. How dumb am I? Once again, my time will be an investment in my diesel fun'd. It is very hard to get into a routine in "port". Hang in there. You'll soon be back on the road.

Addictive - yes sure is - I am back a week, and feeling pretty flat at moment - would love to get straight back out there, but have commitments here, and also flying back to Melb next week for a wedding - might try and get some work when I get back - get some extra funds accumulated - never goes astray in this day and age.
