COOLOOLA COVE QLD

Hi all. I've been up to visit my sister and brother-in-law at Cooloola Cove Qld for a few days.
It's east of Gympie, and just short of Tin Can Bay. It's one of those quiet seaside areas where the people are nice and friendly and life is pretty relaxed.

I can highly recommend the Cooloola Cove Country Club for a good meal and night out. I might be biased about that though..because I won a meat tray! First time in my life! I was very excited!

I'm looking forward to many visits to the area in the future.

We are just around the corner, so to speak, camped at Inskip Point. Cheers Pete

I know the area, have been through Gympie. Cooloola Cove sounds lovely.

Oh bugger! I'm sorry now that I didn't think to check before I went, to see if anyone was in the area.

We drove over to Rainbow Beach too. Had an ice cream, looked around.

Dero and I drove through the hinterland of Cooloola yesterday, on our way home from Brisbane. I was raving on to him about how beautiful it was. Didn't go to the beach, but the country side is just gorgeous!!!!
Cheers Dellie

Yes, I love all that Gympie area. It always seems to be green, even in past years when we've been in drought everywhere else. The rolling green hills are a picture! Unfortunatley, I didn't take any photo's of said hills!

There was a fair amount of rain while I  was there, so would have been miserable photo's anyway.
