Hi happy nomads still trying to work out how to use the forum , but we have a question has anyone stayed at the Haven Caravn Park in Laurieton if so was it alright.

We are just getting organized to take off around Christmas and with it being school holiday time the parks are expensive we do have the camps 5 book.

Wish we had stayed at the Haven, suffered a very noisy night at one of the others in Laurieton a couple of years ago. A couple of permanents partied literally ALL night!

Check the Badgers Caravan Reports.. http://home.vicnet.net.au/~badger04/

Can't think of the name at the moment but have had a couple of weekends a while back at the park in North Haven near the surf club & was ok at the time.
Laurieton, Camden Haven & Dunbogan are all clustered together at the mouth of the river & very sceinic.
There's a great lookout at Laurieton on top of the mountain, over looks the entire area.
I can look for the name of the park later if you wish, just dont have a book with me at the moment. This area is only one hour from us. You can PM me if you want more info.
Currently at Gold Coast QLD.

edit for park name;;
Beachfront Caravan Park;
109 The Parade,  North Haven.

We go to North Haven on the other side of the river from Laurieton, it is only a 5 min. drive and we always stay at the beachfront caravan park the one just near the beach, in fact we are on the way there now arriving Feb 13.
Cant recommend it enough basic park but clean and near everything

I called a mate who lives at Laurieton, he stayed in Brigadoon Caravan park for almost 6 months while they looked for a house to buy. Jim said that he cannot recommend it highly enough.
