Thanks Firefly. I've been googling trying to find something like this. I've now posted to facebook.

My son, wife and toddler have been isolated at Mt Crosby with no power and they haven't seen any of the TV footage.

They've been high and dry though, thank God. They were prepared with a small solar panel, a car fridge and 4WD, so have been fine other than being isolated.

Hi Dellie, I have been lurking mate, not much free time right now. wink

How are you mate?

Beth that is good news they are safe and well. No power would be very hard with a toddler though.

We're doing good firefly... Plenty of room here for any GN's stranded in our area. They would be welcome. We are capable of giving a helping hand to any that may need it. Our daughter and her family have been stranded for 12 days now, but, are coping well. At least they are safe and dry.
Cheers dellie

We do worry about the little grandsons living so close to the big weir.... but they sure have been taught the dangers of the water. Too many deaths in that water!!! Snakes are a big problem, as I believe they are in all floods.

My son just emailed me this one this afternoon. It tells the story very well.

They really are an amazing way to see the difference aren't they. Make it all look a lot clearer as to the damage it wreaks when the waters rise.

Thanks Delta. smile
