From Hospital Hill in Boonah - looking out at Sugarloaf and The Dugandan Pub, and surrounding paddocks, park and road

Nope - Im on the flat about 1k south of this little "brook" - which has now turned paddocks and roads into lakes - I have water at both ends of my street - can get in one way, but not the other - rain has stopped for last two hours or so, if it doesn't rain all night (hoping), water will start to recede hopefully.

We had no milk deliveries in town today, our milk comes from Gatton area, and unfortunately we all know what happened in that area. I have long life milk in cupboard (well prepared camper am I) and I don't eat bread at home,(bread is in short supply as well - roads are cut) have plenty of food for me so I will be ok, as long as the rain stops or stays light.

Boionah and Kalbar are virtually cut off from the rest of the world at the moment - all roads leading to Ipswich, Warwick, Beaudesert are under water.

Drove past the showgrounds caravan park in Boonah - a lot of the "permanents" have moved out - don't like the water views apparently! The Kalbar showground is now called "Kalbar Lakes" - even Harry the caretaker has moved out into the street down from the pub, homeowners in low lying areas evacuated to School of the Arts.

What about the Mt Lindsey Highway from Browns Plains past Park Ridge Jules. I used to live at greenbank gardens right opp the shopping centre there.
I can imagine a lot of the houses in there will be flooded.

I haven't heard exactly Marj, but I'd say the water would be lapping Macleans Bridge. The bridge just down from the Greenbank School is under. My daughter lives at Greenbank, but I think she could get out through Springfield if necessary.

I saw the Logan and Albert Rivers today where the M1 crosses them.

Very high and fast flowing, but nowhere near as bad as Bremmer and Brisbane Rivers.
