Tezza Google Mukinbudin looks like a nice community hope all goes well and you can turn out a caravan park that your new community can be proud of at list you will know what your clients want
I'd imagine the expense of running a park with 42 c One would have to use their Air Conditioners a full bore... Power wise.....I know it's hard Tezza.......I trust you have a nice swimming pool for your guests

Well done tessa. Muckinbudin is a great little community and the Shire park is one of the better small parks. It'a a great locallity too - the best route to the north of WA, just turn off at Southern Cross and go through Muckinbudin to Dalwallinu. When we were there, a group of local ladies were tending the gardens and surrounds. They were very keen to have a bit of a chat! All in all - A great little park and town.

42 degrees is the only the bad news. how about mid 20s in the winter. and the community pool is alongside the park with free admission included in the tarriff which is very reasonable being under $20 for powered site. Also squash courts, bowling green and tennis courts within 150 metres. what with shade, good company and regular happy hours what more could one want.
All the best in your venture .. sounds quite interesting and worth a look at .. Doing the lap and will be in your area early part of next year .. As a 'solo' traveller, I'm keen to find out if its a fixed price .. usually costing 'solos' the same as a couple ..
You have won me over Tezza.....How you manage that is great...People would stay a week or more at that price....Over in the East they are hell bent on emptying your pockets real fast

My favourite site for looking at these things is Wikepedia On that site you have links to the Wikepedia site for the council and the council's site. I note a town population of 281 and shire population of 568. Looks like the town is on the shortcut from Southern Cross to Geraldton.
Look like you have a little lobbying when you get there. The pub and a few other things are listed several times in the shire's web site but the park only once in the Attractions/Accommodation section. The park does not have a web site, so there is something for you to try your hand at.
There are some existing web sites that could get some attention as well. You may like to put some personal info into Garry Stanton's site. With Badgers site, he is open to some input from park managers, particularly when improvements or changes are made.

Acording to Badger it was "Price was lower than expected, good value for money ($15 2A 2C per night, powered, off-peak season)." The report was 08/2009. At that price, who wants drive throughs.

We can do a week for $77 for 2 and given that price not sure about doing better
well you would be hard to beat on price, are you in Camps 5? if not you need to contact them they accept free listing of caravan parks as long as your nightly price is $24 or less.
