Strong Folding Step.

PAGE_007_OFFER_002A6514_POP.jpgThese are in the Repco Catalogue again.  If I remember rightly, they hold very heavy people.  $29.99.

Cheers,
Sheba.

Looks great to me. As I am heavy it is the best and I have welded up a few. with  a piece of marine carpet contacted to the top and a couple of pegging down oportunities, that could involve a 3mm security cable. it will get pinched. Thanks again. Graham.

Nice step Sheba, wide too which is good. Agree with Graham that you would have to watch such a nice step though with thieves, I know a couple of RV owners who have had their steps stolen.

Later Edit:  I have an "exercise" stepper similar in size to your step Sheba that I picked up from a roadside chuck out......works great too (as per my post on Jim's link below).....no photo sorry.

It may not be relevant to this particular product but would suggest checking my previous post on folding steps....http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=51933&p=3&topicID=39555558

I have replaced the step with a Fiamma Magnum shown below.  It has a wider base giving (I hope!) more stability.  It can be pegged down if on uneven ground and whilst it doesn't fold I can store it inside the van, near the door,  when packing up or locking up and leaving camp.

Looking at the height of the one in the photo it looked like the cheeper one but I may be mistaken

Still worh it, saves a nasty fall, well worth it. Another one I have used is the irrigation boxes with lid, inverted and really strong in many sizes. #) odd dollars, pegable, green and black from irrigation suppliers.

Jim....I dont have much faith in those type of plastic steps.....when I got my caravan.....all the steps used on display vans inside the building had checkerplate rivited to the top of them..
