Wahoo - veteran member

Woohoo - just tagged as a "veteran member" - don't know quite how or why - but quite pleased with it anyway.

Welcome to your veteran status...

I see in your profile picture a plaque for the Beautiful Betsy crash site at Kroombit Tops. Is that difficult to get to? Do you go in from Biloela or from the Many Peaks road near Calliope?

Hi, we were staying in Cania Gorge, and went from there - it was 4wd for the best part of the trip, but not difficult, just rocky, steep and rough.  Couple of terrific spots to stop at lookouts, we didn't see another car the day we went up.  We allowed the whole day, and it took us that - we did a loop - well worth the trip.

I don't know how it works - may be how long you are a member?  Originally thought it was age, but don't think so - it's probably in the fine print when you sign up - but who reads fine print???  Maybe someone will tell us.confuse

I believe it is worked out by the computer on the number of posts you have made.

The more prolific number of posts the higher your ranking.
