Sorry for the big photo. I just couldn't get it right tonight. But anyhow, in what town would you find this big bird. Cheers.

Yes Phil, it is Mataranka. A great place to visit for a few days. Nice market in the centre reserve. Love the swimming locations.

Have a go Phil.

Yes Richard it is in Queensland, ergo Bruce it isn't Wentworth Falls.

It isn't all that far from my last "pick this place" of Wallaman Falls.

Spot on Richard, might need a helicopter to get at the moment, Kirrama Range Rd is closed again, though might get in from the Mt Garnet end but the Herbert River crossing could be interesting. Over to you.

You nailed it Gayle. It is one of thousands of messages applied to the rocks in the Breakwall, each with a happy or sad story but all displaying love and memories of people or simply their visit. Its fascinating to take the time to look closely. I have no idea what the one I posted means but someone went to an awful lot of effort.

I can't put up photos like I used to so what I had originally said was that I hadn't been to Port Macquarie for nearly 18 years, so I am happy with my memory. I think I have put this photo up quite some time back also. So where is it. Cheers.

It's been awhile since I put the bush turkey photo up and as we hope to head off on a couple weeks tripping in a few days time I'll give you the answer and someone else can put up a new photo. The turkey is outside Kyogle.

Now where shall we go tripping to is the question? Was thinking of going to Longreach and Winton, going one way and coming home another, but the roads aren't all opened up yet. Maybe we need to go to Port Macquarie instead. haha. Anyways we've got a couple days yet to see what the weather does. Cheers.
