Nope not Mena Creek - but ya so close ya could spit into the creek.
OH, and there is no free camp on or near Mena Creek anymore. The area was bought from the pub by Paronella Park mob who have turned it into a fully-self-contained van park - costs quite a few bucks a night.
I won't give a further clue at the moment but it is south of Mena Creek.

Hi Radar, thanks for all your hints it was a case of keep guessing, until I found the right location. Over the years I have always bypassed Bundy on my drive north. But in recent times I made the detour. A beautiful little agricultural township and comes highly recommended as the sights around Bundy are well worth the visit.
