RE: PICK THIS PLACE

Gday...

Every one is having a sleep-in this Sunday.

I guess clues are called for to stir the grey matter ...

It is in QLD, the name of the creek is the name of the free camp on its banks, it is north of Tully QLD.

Cheers - John

Gday...

Nope not Mena Creek - but ya so close ya could spit into the creek.

OH, and there is no free camp on or near Mena Creek anymore. The area was bought from the pub by Paronella Park mob who have turned it into a fully-self-contained van park - costs quite a few bucks a night. cry

I won't give a further clue at the moment but it is south of Mena Creek.

cheers - John

Liverpool Creek Rest Area. 48 hour limit.

Upper Liverpool Creek day use rest area. In camp book its day use only, in wiki its a camp area but called Japoonvale/Upper Liverpool.

So at this point I am a little confused. But that is normal with me.

So from hear on I will let some else pick.

Thank you John.

This is not a creek but a river with a lot of agricultural near by.

This photo was taken on the return journey abroad a small tourist boat back up stream to the city centre.

Hi Radar, thanks for all your hints it was a case of keep guessing, until I found the right location.  Over the years I have always bypassed Bundy on my drive north.  But in recent times I made the detour.  A beautiful little agricultural township and comes highly recommended as the sights around Bundy are well worth the visit.

An easy start to the day.....Where am I when I took this photo and what does the building represent?   Gwynnie floating.gif

Another pic with my sister in it! While this isn't a free camp you won't break the "bank" to stay here.
