RE: PICK THIS PLACE

I don't think it has to do with Windows 10 updates because my laptop has only now done the updates and I had the problem before that. I think the problem is with the forums software and who knows maybe the win 10 update has affected the forums computers.

Don't know where it is, but since you have spent a lot of time in Townsville I'll take a stab at The Strand Townsville.

Good stab in the dark Bill.

Yep, that is a lovely water feature on the 'Strand' in downtown Townsville, Nth QLD. I love the Strand during the day but when lit up at night is beautiful and I love walking around with the camera. I have seen that water feature with many different colours and even like a bubble bath.

Your turn Bill.

Good morning Bill, seems there is nothing discernable in your choice of photo and have seen many similar water reservoirs in my free bush camping travels around Australia.   But in the 'spirit of the game' I will stick to the QLD water theme and say, ' Callide Dam' near Biloela maybe??    Gwynnie floating.gif

Thank you Bill B, google did not work but google maps sold it to me.

OK where would we find this rock formation on the river of the same name, the gorge with a different name for extra point.

Don't bring your balling ball but you may of cross the bridge on a unique old train.20180630_122334 Gorge Qld.jpg

I am thinking it might be Einsleigh Gorge. The old train might be the Savannah lander

Would the train be the Savannahlander going over the Einasleigh River & the gorge would be Cobbold Gorge PS, Dunmowin has beaten me to it.

Gday...

I would suggest it is the Savannahlander train crossing the Copperfield Gorge, Einasleigh River near Einasleigh, NQ QLD.

Cheers - John

Gday...

Lovely area around Einasleigh

OK ... so what is this creek called?

I will give a couple of clues because, to be honest a creek is a creek is a creek

It is in QLD, the name of the creek is the name of the free camp on its banks.

cheers - John
