Hey everyone, sorry this has taken too long...so I'll give it away...it is near Elizabeth Town Tasmania.

Hint: it is a cheese factory...    Gwynne

Didn't see them when we were there, but presume it is Ashgrovr cheese factory you are hinting at.

Been eating Ashgrove Cheese forever, so we did not go to them when we were in Tassie.

Try this one. Where is the house, bonus if you can tell me who lived here.

Personally I don,t think the reconstruction does the House justice. IMO something just doesn't "click".

My two bob's worth.

Yes Lorraine know it very well, was a Bi-Centennial project. A bit of a rush job at the other end, sorry but a bit busy at the moment.

 Like Bundaberg Botanical Garden.

The home of Bert Hinkler Aviator, pilot. Hinkler House.

Be back later to check.

I've been through Hinkler House. Guess I had forgotten what it looked like.

Just a by the by - Bad motorhome smash in Gatton today. It was a Isuzu - Alpine. Not a Merc Sprinter.

Thank you Dunmowin, I knew there was a reason for you not to answer and was certain of my answer.

You enjoy up there.

What an interesting garage and the old vehicle at the side. I have no idea where it is but from the timber front I would guess Queensland or northern NSW.

Hi Mike and Radar. We drive past Scottys regularly but I was busy with other things today too. Mike, you asked when we were at the Evansdale Penny Fathering races and it was in 2014. A highlight of our trip to Tasmania for me. I had been to Tassie back in the 1970's but it was a first time for Barry and our son was with us on that trip too. We flew down and hired a car and winged it almost everyday with regards to accommodation. And that was a couple months before we bought the Merc. Anyway, I've been rambling on. G'day and cheers. Gaylene.

Tanks,

What would this water course be called?

What is the water course noted for (& much photographed) ?

The white posts are very significant to this location.

Mike.

The  white post  might be something to do with white water rafting?

Not white water rafting, though they (yes there are two showing there) are related to access.

Perhaps a crossing up in Northern Queensland.

Really a guess from 20 years ago.

Would it be a kayaking course on the upper Swan river in WA.

Not in North Queensland.

Not kayaking on the swan.

The white posts are walking trail guides.
