This River crossing (Pedestrian) leads to a popular remote tourist attraction that is sometimes accessed by helicopter, either from nearby campground or from cruise ships.

BTW tis a National Park.

Didn't get to Mitchell Falls when we did the Gibb unfortunately.... but Google helped me a bit, based on your clues.

Staying on the water subject, do you now where we are camped in this picture?

Here is another guess. Have camped on the Victoria side of the lake at a wonderful spot.

Lake Hume.

Hmmm, not Ainsworth or Hume. I really thought this would go quickly, as it is a beautiful place to camp off the Sturt Highway.

Well been though Wagga Wagga more times then I can count.

Would it be Lake Albert. Just did some checking not there no camping.

Maybe Narrandra but I am now totally guessing.

Not near Wagga Wagga,, further west of Narrandera.

We camped here after Balranald, but before Psyches Bend

Four nights, no correct guesses! I will be out all day tomorrow, so will leave it for someone else to take a turn!

Lake Benanee is a large freshwater lake 13 kilometres east of Euston on the road to Balranald. It covers, when full, an area of around 750 hectares.

Lake Benanee has a beach area and public toilets and is easily seen and accessed from the Sturt Highway.

Lake Benanee Rest Area provides a large gravel parking area with a couple of shelters, toilets and bins. A very pleasant spot beside the lake featuring a range of wildlife

Have stayed at Lake Benenee - lots of rabbits and cacti - a nice camp. But there were signs to not go down to the sand when we were there.

Gday...

Ditto me Jules ... and despite the signs, the sand, when I was there, was VERY soft and there was no way I would have taken my van onto it anyway.

It is always interesting how camps change from time to time.

Cheers - John

Hi Dunmowin, Jules and John,  I never even recognise the photo sorry, so no help!

Just returned yesterday on the 'Spirit of Tasmania' ferry and am now down the 'Great Ocean Road' at Princetown heading to Adelaide.  (Wind and rain all the way from Devonport TAS to here...so no photos.)  I am waiting for someone else to put up a photo??? Being on the road I won't be available to put any up myself for a few days..... But I will watch this space.   I am off to Kangaroo Island house sitting from 6/3/18 until 6/12/2018.  Poor thing hey!!!    biggrin biggrin biggrin   .  Gwynnie   floating.gif

Don't know where Gwynnie is - so lets presume she means Winton. It is not Winton nor Queensland.
