Found this in todays paper. For anyone in the Echuca-Shepparton-Bendigo area this would be a lovely weekend away. I wish I had my van already, I would be there.
Terrick Terrick national park this weekend 2-3rd oct
The Friends of Terrick Terrick National Park will hold an open weekend with activities based at the Davies Homestead. 12 Ks along Kow Swamp Road from the intersection with Echuca-Mitiamo Rd.
The program starts tonight and will feature a guest speaker. there will be a night walk. Tomorrow, Saturday there will be a guided bushwalk in the forest section. Wildflower walks will also be available. Saturday night will be a nightlife wildlife survey and a second guest speaker.
Sunday morning is a choice between guided bird watching or a tour of the new grassland additions to the park. Participants can come along for part or all of the activities. Free camping is alongside the homestead from 3pm Friday.
