Just noticed that I was only registered user online and there were 14 guests so I looked at the list of users and there were 9 from USA.
USA Guests why don't you register and then you can contribute to the forum. it would be interesting to do comparisons between Aus and USA way of doing things.

When I was in the States in the 90's I found the people to be welcoming and generous, especially when they heard my Australian accent. And I'd like to welcome any travellers to our country. And guests to the forum.smile

Why the USA guests don't register is there too busy playing "Pickle Ball" :)

We have played here in the US lately and its a very serious business.

Now who doesn't know what it is?

Some picks of the Palm Desert championships this year - yes everyone is very mature and the temp was 40c.....no stopping these guys, our friend Suzy a single lady traveler from Portland Oregon took a title.

Yes yes they have a doggy cresh for your pooch whilst you play LOL

Don't see many caravans on the road in the US, most are into motor homes and 5th wheelers.

I doubt there is much on this site that would excite the interest of the average American.smile

 I agree Ron, however they do everything so much bigger better and cheaper over there it's simply difficult to relate the experiences in the two countries.

As far as the choice of climate and scenic area's are concerned, they have pretty much everything we do, only more, tropics, mountains, woodland, desert, it's an enormous country with such diversity and of course an abundance of choice at much lower prices when it comes to consumer goods, probably why the average American never sees a reason to leave the the place.

I have a reasonable knowledge of things American, we have family living in Maryland, visit frequently, and move around quite a bit whilst we are there, only arrives home 10 days ago.smile
