I've stayed at Fraser Lodge (Big4) and found it ok. It's within walking distance of the Torquay shops, restaurants and pub

Hervey Bay Caravan Park. This lovely little spotless park is adjacent to the Urangan Bowls Club and opposite the Botanical Gardens.
Check it out. http://www.hervey-bay-park.com.au
or www.ozparks.com.au
Cheers,
ozjohn

Although they're not a member of the Oz Parks Chain I can personaly recommend the Big 4Crystal Cascades Park in Cairns. We've stayed there twice and really enjoyed the experience.

Crystal cascades is some distance out of town, that may be a plus for you perhaps.
