Was away for weekend chating to other camper... Here is few more showgrounds that people have been too .....not sure of prices ... But worth checking out if you are heading there
Longreach Waterhole..dust bowl, HEAPS of Caravans. I didn't like it.
Winton, behind the Gregory Hotel..don't bother unless you have your own shower/toilet. They are ancient and gross! We stayed at Matilda Caravan Park instead and it was great! Lovely people, great entertainment!
Coffs Harbour Showgrounds now has no camping, however in the area next to the showgrounds, the old caravan park has been fenced off, and is now known as Coffs Harbour North Country CP.
Good facilities, clean, dump point, great camp kitchen, and rec room.
$32 a night, power & water. Walk to shopping centre.

One showground I love is at Glenreagh NSW about half an hour NE of Coffs Harbour NSW. Peaceful, scenic and cheap. Shower shed rustic but very clean and water is hot and soft. Also if you're into "Big Things" it has the golden dog at the side of the pub. Can anyone tell me how to post or attach photos on the forum???
