Hi everyone,
We have been to a little town called Boomi they have the hot pool there it only cost $13 a night without power and entry to the pool we thought it was a really good deal. At the moment we are at Meandarra where you have power and hot showers and toilets  also a dump point cost $5 the first night the next two night's free. Just thought I would let you know. Take care everyone on the road. Helena.

Perhaps a good one for the free/budget campsites section of the forum.

To see the exact spot for the camp at Meandara, put -27.321352,149.879896 into Google maps. The shower block is to the east of the road and the camping to the west - beside the creek

Hi ...

Would I be showing my age if I were to mention that I used to camp at Meandarra 50yrs ago for free?  No hot showers though.  Left a camera in the pub but got it back from under the bar on a later trip a couple of months later.  Pitty, if I hadn't it would probably be in the museum.

Used to go out that way shooting pigs, foxes and the like.
