WE MADE IT

Well after a fantastic trip from Ulladulla up through the middle we have finally made it into Darwin.

We caught up with Mr and Mrs Firefly at Adelaide river last night and had a nice catch up.

We are staying at the Lee Point Village Resort.  We had varied reports on this establishment but so far we are quite pleased with where we are.

If anyone else is in Darwin send me a PM and we will make some arrangments to meet up over a cool drink..........they type of cool drink is individual choice.  Make mine tomato juice with loads of Ice.

For the past week on the Great Ocean Road we needed some of that warmth from up your way Ma. Today we pulled into Figtree C/P in Warrnanbool & for $25 a night(Top Tourist c/p member discount) we just enjoyed a long lazy swim in their heated swimming pool then finished off with a 15min spa all enclosed in a heated room, haven't been this warm in ages....Aaaaah the luxury of it all.

Cheers
Jon

We are in Darwin as well but at Brett's cousins house. His neighbour is away and has kindly let us put our van there, connected to his power and all.

We leave here on Friday morning to do the Kimberly with his cousin.

Our catch up with Ma and Guru was beautiful and hope to do it again when we get back to Darwin. smilesmile

Hi you two,  we didnt' forget you we just followed our nose and didn't get down your way but don't fret, you can't get rid of us that easily.  You are in for a definite visit in 2012, if you can bear to wait that long.   Cheers Guru and Ma

Will keep that place in mind for our next trip Jon.  Sounds just the ticket on a cold night.   Thanks   Ma

I stayed at the Figtree a few months ago. It's a well run park in a quiet location, very handy to the CBD. Some of the sites may be a little tight for larger rigs so would need to let them know.
