Generator

For those who remember me and my problems with the Toyota Coaster (Lemon)Well it's coming along fine ..Shirley and I will head North this July...I was wondering if I could ask you fellow Nomads..If you had a choice would you take a generator...I have one...But really wont be off road much.... As my wife is a little scared of ghosts and things  Like crooks and rapist......I hope some of you can give me an idea...I will be pulling a tiny trailer....so room is no problem

Jimbo, tell your wife that there are more crooks and rapists in towns and caravan parks than there are in the bush, and all the ghosts are friendly........ smile.gif

What would you use a generator for if you took one?

Cheers,
Peter

Peter!!!  That actually is a good question.....No reason at all...I will not take it...I will use it for when I go to the Murray on my own down the track....Thank you for that.....

If not free camping for extended periods then don't bother.

Unless it's a remote start unit you will need to leave the van to kick it over and mum may shot you when you come through the door

Jim, We have been travelling & free camping where possible for 30yrs.NEVER had a problem in a free camp ever & we have camped in a variety of places.
We had one attempted break in to our vehicle & that was in a caravan park in WA.
