Nah, you won't have any trouble, as long as you consider the other travellers, keep him under control and pick up the poop.

Get a copy of 'Camps 5', they have a website. They list all the dog friendly places.

I am planning a trip from Goulburn to Longreach across to Gladstone and back. Have already found heaps of places to stay with my 'kids'

Cheers
Allara

Hello Maureen. We take our Staffie everywhere with us.I find it best to just suss out where ever we stop and see what other dogs are doing.I do find with my dog that he wont leave the immediate area of our van.I always have a packet of green bags just in case lol.I sometimes make a run for him depending on the site etc.The one thing I never do is to let run free unsupervised, not eveyone loves dogs do they?Don't let other peoples neg comments put you off having a great time with your mate(s).Cheers.Crowie.ps as for free stop overs Camp 5 is the bible.Leading book stalls will stock it,or you can buy directly from the publisher.'Phone...........07 5449 1476.This book has all the info you will ever want about free camps etc.Good luck and happy travels.Cheers.Crowie.
