An RV 'Technical' reference point

G'day  ..

When I have a technical issue relating to caravanning I always go to the site below for what is usually a good source of facts.

I have placed the authour's books on my "Grandads present list".  The articles are the base data that is expanded in his publications.

I expect that many of you will have seen the site, but for those who haven't, I strongly recommend that you have a look.

Peter  .. I saw that one & recalling your ativar, had to scroll thru the forum members to find you and wondered if you were indeed the Author ...  but although your rig is really out of this world .. what about the contents of the book (click on the cover) .. blows my mind.

Even Dave might find this of use one day.

ps.  I see that the Author is an Oka owner too. So there you go.
I loved his article/comment about 'common sense'.  You see a lot of that on these forums with guys that have grown up with certain ideas that when tested are not founded in fact.

Not any more Cupie, Collyn Rivers sold his OKA a couple of years ago, but still has a big soft spot for them..

Cheers,

too complex for me although it is an excellent reference, I keep my systems simple and understandable by me, that way when it breaks I can fix it!

I can relate to that.

I have an electrical engineering & mechanical background so this sort of appeals to me in that I have a residual passing knowledge of many of the underlying principles.

I use references such as these to refresh my understanding of those principles when considering related problems.
