Milo the number of caravan and motorhomes out there these type of incident are very rare ,I think you would find more chance happening in your home in the suburbs and more so in the street . when a person is attacked in a caravan it is usually by someone they know

Just reposted link so it can be clicked on (sometimes you need to edit post, put cursor behind the link and move one space until colour changes, then submit (repost) to make the link user friendly (read work by clicking). Only original poster can do this on their post, hence mine, See;

Its all about time and place Milo.   Most people murdered have placed themselves in harms way in some fashion prior to the event.   The instances of holiday makers being attacked in their caravans or in parks generally is very low.

I have had he odd sleepless night after having to pull into the first park I found late in the day when tired etc.  Did that in Rockhampton one day.  The park was feral city with kids prowling around all hours and a drinking competition apparently going on at a nearby site.  I should have been suspicious when the first site I saw in the park was the 1950s bus, rusted out, jacked up on bricks with the tyres completely perished and five or six semi naked children standing around the front of it.   Still in all it makes for good conversation years later.   Should take photos and write a book.

Yes some time back there was a report about people in the town not wanting a new caravan in their town , and some people on this forum were outraged that this could happen a town not wanting grey nomads , if only that was there clients were all grey nomads , I would pay more to stay in a park without feral there plenty of feral caravan about beware

Try this as a simpler way to insert a 'clickable' link......

Copy the link you want, then 'paste' it into your post..http://tinyurl.com/ygxrk95

Now highlight the link as if you were going to copy it again, notice now the Link and Broken Link in the toolbar are now usable.  Click on the Link.

This will open a little popup window, paste your link again into the text box, click Insert and the link then is clickable.

Sounds complicated but it really isn't.  Try it without actually submitting a post.

When you have perfected that, try this.... after you have Copied your link hilight some text in your post which is meaningful to the link like this...To see the story read it here

I hilighted "read it here". then click the Link button on the toolbar, copy your link and click Insert.  Now the words "read it here" become the link.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers Neil

I reckon there's more to this story than the item reveals, and the Police probably have their suspicions.
Why would 2 strangers, or strange men, pounce on a total stranger in his caravan in the middle of the night?
Drunken brawl, money or drugs perhaps? Could be all of the above.
The chances of it happening at random or anywhere else, are fairly slim.
Rest easy I think.

Thanks Neil, although I think my method sounds quicker. PS: Love the dress, do you wear it often, LOL!

CG........I agree, I don't think we have heard the full story yet.

That's just the suspicious journalist in me which makes me look a bit deeper.
Everything happens for a reason.
