climate change and the weather

Hi all
We are currently parked at Edithburgh weather good fishing not to bad. Watching the news last night they had a segment on climate change and predicting what the weather is going to be like in 100 years.  Really how can you take this seriously!! Then came the weather for cast for Christmas day they had a senior for caster sitting in front of a satellite picture with all the current weather patterns on it
and she makes the comment "it is very hard to predict what  the weather will be" on Christmas day. Now you have to ask your self if they can't predict what is going to happen next week with all the information in front of them how can they predict what is going to happen in a 100 years.
Have a nice day
Al

You know what it's like people get to hot days in a row and their outside their comfort zone so it has to be global warming, comes from working indoor with the aircon up full.

Enjoy the festive season all

Apples and oranges, both fruit, but different.

Likewise weather and climate, both changeable and very difficult to predict, but not the same thing.

Too true Al. I don't personally believe in all this climate change crap!! I think we are just in a normal cycle!

What are you doing at Edithburgh?? How long you going to be there for??

Troubridge Point is another quite good fishing spot in that area, or it used to be when we frequented the place in the 70's.

That site confirms EXACTLY what I ahve said Many many times.

We are in a cycle of climatical conditions...................

This current hysterical action is purely a money grabbing exercise but the money people.

We are spending more money on this bloody global warming at the moment, than we are on feeding our populations!!

Talk to archeologists........study your history.........take a look around and you'll see it is something that is happening, that we can do NOTHING about!!

We have had more than twice the Co2 levels in the atmosphere than we have now and that was back when we had no industrial world!!

Yep, sure looks like global warming to me, the eastern shores of the good ole USA are getting covered in blizzards and are creating records set in 1932, some parts that normally don't have snow.
