Barry Powell and his dog are missing between Kunnamulla dn Charleville.  Car abandoned.  Missing since Wednesday according to the Courier Mail.

Hey all you GN's  take the advice given by all the services.   STAY WITH YOUR CAR!!!

I think that is between Cunnamulla and Charleville its a busy highway so I think there is more to this story plenty traffic on that road

well thats bloody terrible, a shame to lose a life unnecessarily, just shows the old adage that one should stay with the vehicle no matter what

pretty hard to do if not prepared I guess, even though these roads are getting more and more traveled it just shows they are still killers!

stay safe folks be prepared dont take Australia lightly!

The section of road where he went missing has about 380 cars a day use this road may be he did not want to be found

oh I'm sure there is more than one Barry Powell in australia, in fact there is one that lives a couple of miles down the road from us, just because he doesnt visit fora various doesnt make this gentleman any the less important!

and peters post was at 9.50 am, not 10.50 am

an unnecesary tragedy to the families involved! whoever he is! but a lesson to be learnt for others

The post on another Forum was not from the late Barry powell that Ma spoke about.Barrys body was found in thick scrub,his dog a black Labrador has not been found.There are no suspicious circumstances.Cheers.Ibbo.
