RE: ROAD TRAINS

I've been across the Nullarbor twice, and each time was different.
The first time, June 06, was in the middle of a drought but the Nullarbor was the only green country I saw on the whole trip.
The next time was about 12 months later, and not much green, but I still enjoyed it.
The Penong Caravan Park was an absolute oasis, and one of the neatest parks I've stayed in, and the washing machine was free. And it's just behind the Penong Pub.
The "golf course" wasn't done then.

This is road trains - 17 triples with approx 30 live head of cattle per deck x 6 decks per train.
This is at Helen Springs Station in NT, east of Stuart Highway, between Renner Springs and Tennant Creek.
