I have to admit (shamefully) that my one and only visit to SA was in late 1973, en route from Perth to Melbourne. Skirted Adelaide on a Sunday afternoon. Gee, it was quiet!
HOWEVER, I am about to remedy that and venture across the WA border. Seems to me there's plenty to see and do. For starters, I imagine a week or so touring the Barossa Valley would be fun (hic).

You have to pass throught the Coonawarra district (Hic) on your way to Adelaide. Then is you miss it to the south, you end up in the Mclean Vale District (Hic Hic), before heading to the Barossa (Hic Hic Hic)

Do you mean McLaren Vale Bob?
There's also the Clare Valley, and the Eyre Peninsula has 3 wineries near Pt. Lincoln.
No to mention the lovely country you will pass through to get to these places.
When you go to the Barossa, check out all the little villages like Seppeltsfield, Marananga, Dutton, and go up Mengler's Hill from where you can see most of the valley north to south.
Lyndoch has a great bakery, and a nice country pub.

I can asure u Disco they were all legal size. The snapper were exelent in the Weber Q just the right size wish you were here Disco VERY tasty!!!!

Small pan sized Snapper like those are the best. I am actually not a great snapper fan unless they are small. I more prefer Tommies.............freshly caught and cooked in a bit of lightly garlic flavoured butter. Makes my teeth water just to think about them. I also love flathead and most of the deep sea fish like bore fish and ruffy.
