Thought this link my be of interest to some members interested in where the fires are currently in NSW. Each state has their own site but this is the one we use.
If you look to the right on the home page screen, there is a heading Current Incidents in NSW. Click on this and it will take you to a map of NSW. When you scroll down the page past that map, there is a list of the current fires. Anything with a water drop looking icon, click on it and it gives you a fairly up to date description of the incident.
This could be a handy tool for Nomads when travelling.
