TIP...REDUCE FIRE RISK WHEN USING GENERATOR


When using a generator we clear the area for the genny first,then place a fire blanket on the ground, place generator in the centre of the  fire blanket. This could be the difference between a bad day & a disarster. They are not expensive & available from many outlets. Safe camping.

Thanks for this tip we should use this site more for passing on good advice like this . any petrol motor after running for some time get very hot and can easily start a grass fire which i have know this to happen from my fire fighting days , so i can see your idea is worth putting into practice thank you
