Tisha

Wow, what a dog, all house trained, got her own bed, puts herself to bed around 6 each evening ,and wakes us every morning from her own cave,(pic)
Walks me every mornig and tries to catch any thing that runs, and can she go, standing 1/4 at the moment is about 3 seconds, , to see her stretch out and run like the wind is a joy I had forgotten, and MOST times she answers,
No aggression around kids or other dogs,
Of course their is exceptions
A couple of ****suus down the track come out and annoy her but now she ignores them,    the first time the buggers tried her on and she stood them both down, no sound but I.ll be damned if I would like to face her,
My nieghbour has a fat heeler , a proper thief she is but she also learnt the hard way when she took one of Tisha bones  , We had a real dog fight on our hands , but have made up agian, and now they know thier limits,
Will recommend a Basenji to all ,

Love the cave guys. Had a few glitches, so it will be a while yet 'till we get out there again,
Cheers,

Hi Mike and Judy,
Tisha looks lovely and animals bring such joy in our lives. We are traveling with our 14 (nearly)year old Labrador and since we have been on the road have had not an ounce of trouble with her.
Happy safe travels
Chris and Robbie

The Basenji "royale" looks just bonza. It also looks like she gets the royal tweatment.
While a dog is a good mate, I don't think it's practical when travelling like this.
I do have a "pretend" dog sitting - no, lying on my bed. I call him "Dozer" - he sleeps all the time, and -- he doesn't move anything.
I usually pat other people's dogs when I go to friend's houses or on walks etc. It's all good. Cheers Chris
