THIS IS ANOTHER PIECE OF INFO. I COLLECTED WHILE LIVING ON CAPE YORK, BUT HAVEN'T YET TRIED.  IT MIGHT COME IN HANDY FOR SOME-ONE.

TO PRESERVE POTATOES.

DIP INTO BOILING WATER FOR 1 MINUTE.  STORE IN A COOL DARK PLACE.  SHOULD KEEP ABOUT 1 YEAR.  THEY WON'T SPROUT.

good one Xina.  We don't use potatoes very quickly and it seems that they are always sprouting when I go to use them.   Will certainly try this one.  Let me know if you do it before me.   Ma
