Hi Guys

Just a quick few words while I stop for lunch at Croydon. Gary and Kerry were right, the hamburgers at the General Store in Croydon are amazing. I don't know if they're the best in Oz, because a chap told me two days ago that the best hamburgers in Oz are at Burktown. I'll be there in a couple of weeks, so I'll have to try one and make the comparison.

Heading for Normanton and Karumba this afternoon and hopefully there'll be coverage there, so I'll update the blog in the next couple of days.

Regards to all.

I've just spent 2 nights in the caravan park at Normanton ($24 / night), Set up, caught a good night's sleep and headed out the next morning to look at Karumba and, bugger me, the north bank of the Norman river was half-full of caravans and motorhomes - for free.

Incidentaly, IMHO Karumba is a hole. I understand that it is a mecca for fisher(wo)men, but as a tourist destination, it's the pits.

There's still space in Cairns, well, in the park I'm in anyway.

The parks in Broome have been slow too. The overflow areas haven't been needed yet.
Kununurra is full now accourding to my sources.

It's good to compare notes at this time of the year, school holidays not withstanding.
Cheers Chris
