dried food

Hello all - heading off on the 22nd June to Queensland outback area - been trying to find dried food suppliers on the net with no luck (knowing me probably looking in the wrong place).   Where can you purchase these products - supermarkets, camping stores ??.      Thanks Terry

G'day Terry ..

I have seen racks of the stuff at BCF & other camping stores.

I've been toying with the idea of taking some on my kayak trip up the Noosa River NP. On the other hand I might just take cryovack steaks with spuds, onions and some flour for damper.

Lets know how you go & what it's like.

After my experiences with dehydrated food (I JUST LOVED dried ham & egg) I'll stick to canned food if ever the need arose....

Hey Terry

You don't have to BUY dried food.........

Just let me cook for you. I can dry anything!

If it was my wife cooking................you'd get leftovers. We always get leftovers?? I don't recall ever getting the original meal. I think she buys leftovers from the supermarket. Do they have a special section for that?? Mind you they do taste good!!
