During the May flood on the Clarence, the water rose to a height of 7.35 metres and as the levee wall is the concrete block structure ( which incidentally is the back fence of the Sunset Caravan Park in South Grafton-a great place to stay ) it was nearly time to pack up (evacuation had been ordered ) but thankfully it did not overtop the wall. Compare the levels in the 'pumpkin' shots, only two days apart. The aircraft were moved from the local airstrip prior to it flooding and secured on the road. Cheers.
