Hi All, The attached are just a sample of photos taken on our last trip thru NSW/Vic and beyond. The hume weir was at 3% at the time and the long strip of concrete is actually a major boat ramp at the weir. The other ones are of the Murray at Corowa and show the degredation due to the drought. The paddle steamer (P.S. Ruby ) was at Wentworth and has been completely re-built from a hulk and by now should be on the river in all its glory. Cheers.
These are some of the fish that the Mildura RSL Angling Club released recently into the Murray at Mildura. Each year we donate $5000.00 which is matched by the NSW government.
Each year we select a class from a local primary school to release the fish. They are given lunch and prior to the release they a given a talk on the health of the river and how they can help.
This is wilnomad's wife advising you all that william passed away on the 22nd April, 2010 from bowel cancer. I have no idea if I am messaging correctly but hope this will land in the right place. It all happened so quickly that we are both devestated at our loss and finding it difficult to accept that he is not with us. I know he enjoyed his connection with the grey nomads and he was looking forward to further travels.
