Planning a trip out to Longreach and Townsville  and back down the coast .

Intend taking my Lab with us and will be looking for places to leave the dog while I go visit various un-dog friendly places like National Parks and the general tourist traps .

Anyone know of places that will take dogs on a day care basis,  drop off in the morning pick up in the evening  type of set up .

Wombat, my advice would be to check the Yellow pages on line for Dog Kennels, most will provide "doggy Day Care"
Search thru this lot!!!!

went to Longreach/Hall of Fame last week.
Dropped Max off at the local vet for the day Cost $11. well worth it. Don't know what you could do on weekends or public holidays though.
