We are On The ROAD!!!

After selling the house, camping at brother's house for a few days, driving Adelaide to Melbourne, camping at RV centre for a few days...............................................

our Winny was finally ready for us to drive away last Friday!  So we are now in Moree tonight, a long way from Melbourne, but still further from Cairns, where we are headed. We have fee camped a few nights without incident; tonight is our second night at a caravan park.
Today is Wednesday, right?????    I am losing track of the days.
I am trying to keep our blog up to date, here is the link ....

I will try and check in when I can. Stay safe and well all of you.
Cheers,
Jill & Rick

Well done and congratulations!
Enjoy your wallow in the hot pools in Moree.
Please keep in touch because I'm pretty sure I'll still be in Cairns when you get here.
Safe and happy travels. The country must be looking wonderful now. Enjoy.
Cheers Chris

Jill,   if you can a log of fuel prices and van park costs is always a welcome insight to those planning a trip.  Also places to avoid or ones to list as a must stop is also welcome for the planning phase

Thanks for all your good wishes. smile.gif

Wombat, I will try and make a note of prices. The CP at Moree was $25 p/n for a powered site. Nice park, clean amenities. It was emphasised to LOCK everything, even if you just go out for a smoke. Not sure if this was because of the local population. I am being PC by not saying more.
We had a soak in the Artesion spa pool there....................
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............very nice.
