Camp beneath shady gum trees beside a water hole stocked with fish and yabbies.  Barbeques, tables, flushing toilets, hot showers and limited generated power is provided.  Use our campground as a base to explore the wineries of Padthaway and Coonawarra and the scenic Limestone Coast.  Experience bush walking, bird watching and enjoy the flora and fauna in 120ha of virgin scrub.  There is a 1-2hour easy walking trail through the serene bushland along a marked 3km loop walk.

Pets are welcome at our discretion. Dump Waste disposal also available. Extra fees apply for dump waste and generator. Fees may vary.

Cost: $5.00 per person per night.



Went there last October....going again Easter...its about 14klm north of Naracoorte..on a working farm...level camping area.lots of shelter leantoos...

Hi Smokeydk,
The reason i asked was i got co-ordinates from Camp Oz but when i put on my gps it showed one dot on sreen,so i don't know what happened so i will try your lot.

how are you getting on with the garmin, should be quite a good one, dont forget about the shonkymaps website that are 100% compatible for the garmin

WoooW!! what a weekend.....perfect weather...perfect place.....met lots new friends
.....the pajero ran great.......with the camper on the back....it didnt notice it....even had to put the cruise control on..so it stayed on the speed limit......"kept on creeping up"

I hope you all had a great weekend too..


If you never been to Black C.o.c.k.atoo Bush Camp.....then add it to your list....at $5 per person per night even at Easter...its great value........Ken and Elis..are great Hosts.....Sunday night they cooked Yabby burgers at $7..each ...yummmm!! supplying all the campers..
