Yellowpinch Dam South of Bega


Yellowpinch dam is a roadside rest area about 30 km south of Bega. Like most roadside stops there is an expectation that the stop should only be 24 hours, but there are no signs stating any restrictions. An elderly couple who left the day after I got there said they had been there a week and I stopped for three nights. Plenty of wonderfull bushwalking in the area. No facilities except toilets and a great shaded meals area.

Yes Mike this trully is a magnificent spot, wonder how long before the very cash strapped Bega Valley Council put up a Ticket machine......
