Fish the family dish

Hey fellow travellers and would be nomads

I would just like to share my story on basic cooking and how easy it is to buy fresh fish and cook simply.

A fresh fillet of atlantic salmon or ocean trout (say 150 -200 gms ) is about $6-7.00. This compares favourably to steak and is much more healthy with almost no saturated fat and any fat being mostly omega 3 good oil.

Without a doubt fish/fish oil is the cheapest form of health insurance on the planet and I usually supplement my mostly fish diet with 6 gms of fish oil and 1 gm vitamin E natural every day.

Anyway - back to the fish-wrap in tinfoil with a squirt of lemon and pepper (no salt) and all you need is 15 -20 minutes at 200C for an easy meal.

Add microwave tatties beans/etc.

For a microwave dish it takes about 3-4 minutes on high or use the power configuration if has "fish ".

Having batched when the better half is away its so easy to prepare delicious to eat I never tire of it
