I agree, you could here a pin drop in here at the moment.
I think we are all just busy doing the pre-Christmas thingy and not much else!!
As for me? Well I have the re-upholstering finished and the cage on the back has now been welded into place (just a couple of bolts to go) and then I am pretty much set to hit the road after Christmas as well. I was hoping to do The Great Ocean Road, and it is still on the agenda, but work took priority for a bit so i could pay for the couple of upgrades. Re-registeration next, then I should be set for the trial run. I'll post when I hit the road.
Cheers for now!

well done Martin, encouragement of that sort gets my seal of approval everytime, I really hope all grey nomads have the same feeling of sharing that you show here, it's great to see an open invitation to all and sundry and I really hope the solo's see that to aproach anothers camp is not such a daunting prospect,

if ever you see "little blue" and a mob of people having a yak, I want to see skirts and shorts flying with speed in your effort to gain a place around the camp, you will be, as in all camps that I have seen, more than welcome, I would just like to see more people expressing this notion, hell I get as much if not more pleasure out of other peoples company as they seem to get out of mine, solo or couples it's a two way thing, some of our best times are with solo travellers

the solo's site is a good one for just somewhere to start off with (ice breaker if you will) but I am very pleased to see the solo's venturing into and finding a well deserved and respected home in the general area as well, more than welcome any where you feel comfortable, you are after all travellers the same as anyone else and should feel welcome just the same as anyone else, as for me I look forward to your posts the same as anyone elses, perhaps a little more so!!,

I just ask fellow travellers to "show" the welcome mat just a little bit more, I know it's there but if one is travelling on one's own it's not always so obvious to see, "take a seat and would you like a cuppa tea" is so easy to say and could start a lifelong freindship, who knows!!! certainly a lovely way to "wile" away a few hours

it's such a little thing but it makes our fellow travellers lives just that little bit more pleasant and of course enriches ours as well!!!

Hey, you'll be heading off soon. You said after Christmas. Best of luck and have a great time. You also said you're heading off around Oz but which way and from where? I'll keep a look out for that skull and cross bones and you can watch out for Matilda's Tardis.  Myabbe we'll meet up. Happy Hour is always a good time. Have a great journey and do please share it with us.

Sorry group, I am guilty too.

Have been busy selling up, and now at 7 days to go. Have purchased the first part of my rig, somehow, with all that is happening.

Have not even a joke for you. Will make it up in another couple of weeks.

Hi Two Bob. What did you buy? Sounds as though it's all happening soon.
