" I'm dreaming of a White Christmas....."

All the snow on the mountains around here makes me feel like Bing Crosby. It's NOVEMBER, can one of you who have contact with the "supreme being" tell him/her we don't get snow for Xmas in Australia?

Basil, in all our years of travel we have yet to see snow, even in tassie we never came across it, the snow is high on our "wish list" to see, cant wait to "smack" the dragon in the back of the head with a big snowball, wont she be pleased, if I survive and if I get out of hospital still able to talk I will let you know how I went

I dont think even "cindy" with her inate powers could stop the snow, Ohhhh!!! you meant the OTHER supreme being, sorry cant help there!!

I thought it was going to snow in C town on Saturday and it was snowing an hour and half away. I remember a few years ago when it was snowing at Cradle Mountain on christmas Day usually the only place you will get to see a white christmas if a cold snap is passing by. Not for me I like mine hot, I grew up having my christmas's with all of our family friends camping at Point Plummer near Port Mac eating prawns instead of roast and watermelon instead of pudding and being bitten by bull ants but we all loved it. chezgo

we flew out of adelaide boxing day for hobart. Picked up a motorhome and headed for Lake St Clair woke up the next morning and everything was covered in snow. Neither of has seen snow before and was unexpected but welcome.
