Welcome to the campfire!

Welcome one and all to The grey nomads forum. We hope you'll enjoy this service and use it as a way of keeping in touch with old friends and, perhaps, making some new ones along the way. It's a great place to share information, stories and maybe even a few tipsl. We're certain the forum will see some lively discussions and debates in the weeks, months and years to come but let's keep it friendly, fun and clean. Enjoy. Let the games begin!!!

Great idea for a website, good luck with it.

Although I am a long way from being a grey nomad I do know a lot of information about Kununurra and the East Kimberley region so if members have any questions, feel free to fire away.

yep great idea.  I am looking forward to hopefully starting to travel next year and any info will be helpful.  I am a Cairns (Queensland) person and hoping to travel down towards NSW and Vict etc.  Anyone needing help or info on Cairns and surrounds - I be happy to help.

It's wonderful to find this site, and I really hope it does well. I visit quite often but the activity is rather slow. There are some great stories and helpful hints already, and I have read just about everything there is on the site.

I have just retired, (two and a half years early) and cant wait to get on the road. For a while I will only be travelling short distances from Brisbane for one night stopovers. I intend to sell up in around two years and do the big trip, and all going well, keep going thereafter.

Hopefully many tales will be told around your campfire, I wait in anticipation for the next stories. smile

Welcome to the forum way2gokev.
You've found a very old welcome from Cindy, I'm surprised at the venerable age of this forum.. almost 8 years! Congratulations Cindy!!!

Hi Kev - it's actually Ms Webmaster - but I am sure Cindy won't mind - welcome to the site - we have a lot of fun on here, and meet some great people - we are in Tassy at the moment - at the Hobart showgrounds, but moving on towards Port Arthur today - whereabouts in Tassy are you?  We are here for quite a while yet - been all over, but still lots to see - heading down to Bruny next week - should be good.  Hope to hear from you.  love meeting new people.
