Mobile Phone

Hi All

I have just found a mobile phone that has blown me away. This phone works on normal Optus mobile when you are in town, and when you are on the road, it changes to Satellite signal on the same mobile number.

I am never out of range.

I just have been so happy with it I needed to tell people.

I have only found it through 1 place on line through a company called TCS. Link below.

http://store.tcsrdirect.com.au/category17_1.htm

Because we actually live in an area that does not have mobile signal, we received 60% back from the government to buy the phone.

Their contact is on the link.

Let me know what you all think. I recon I could sell these when I am touring.

My daughter was expecting our grandchild last week, and we knew that if the baby came we could be told straight away. We are still waiting on the baby to come, cant believe another grandchild!

Oh well enough of waffling on. I just thought that heaps we have spoken to complain about not being in contact, and we found this to help.

Bob the trekker.

This sounds like a great idea especially after I spent 30mins on the phone to telstra yesterday to a guy in Asia somewhere who raved on about nothing and I came out of it not getting anywhere and not game to call again wondering which country I would get. Maybe this would work in Streaky Bay as at the moment not too many options only Telstra NextG so forced to have that as we spend so much time over here. Cheryl

We had Next G and although it worked in a lot of places this one works everywhere. We applied for a govenment rebate for the phone because we live out of mobile range, but even if you live in an area, but spend more than 120 days in a year out of range the price of the phone comes down to about $700.

I love this phone. The people at this TCS place I got it from were really helpfull as well.smile
