I have been traveling around Qld for many years now and reciently had the misfortune to stay at a caravan park on the hill at Atherton Qld. The van park looked tidy and ok but the managment we very unpleasent and unfriendly which made my stay shorter than expected. There is a nice park in mareeba rodio grounds on the Dimbulah road and another in Walkermin between Atherton and Mareeba 15mins each way. both are very well priced and have plesant managmenti shall be staying at these in the future. wineman I just lobbed into Mareeba yesterday and headed for a Caravan Pk with a flashy name, Tropical Tablelands Van Park , I plan on staying a few months so paid for a week , I think I might go looking for a better park, this place is ......??? NO COMMENT
