Energy Companies have a proposal up to the effect they can even charge you for surplus solar export to the grid. Depending on load and time of day. Once they get these keys it will be any time that suits them in my opinion. I lodged a brief complaint on the website submission form. AEMC.gov.au

Snowy River caravan group on Facebook There is a group for Snowy River caravans on Facebook with 500+ members. Having bought one of their vans I decided to join Facebook in order to access this group. It is a significant disappointment in many ways. 1 - Facebook is a truly awful style for serious discus...

What are some of the realistic (subjective) options for caravan heating when free camping. My wife simply reckons to put on a few extra layers of clothing but I dont want to be like the Michelin Man whilst sitting in the van at night or first thing in the morning once winter hits hard. cheers

Has anyone ever changed the mesh in their RV screens? We have those common plastic, dual glazed type. Forget the brand. Pull up blind, pull down screens. Small midgees seem to walk through the screens side by side. The Windows are a good concept but we have found them lacking in insect proof and fragili...

Inguinal hernias a few weeks ago, feel like they have torn me in half the last couple days - very painful, on my back all day today. Operation on Tuesday and I am told a 6 to 7 week recovery, so that will slow me down a bit I guess. Lol, glad I got away recently for a little trip. Take care when doing the heavy lif...

Anyone done this and if so, please feel free to comment on recommendations. Obviously, there is going to be a substantial bracket/platform to be fitted to take the weig...

Not really cooking, but for those who like duck, but only a smaller portion, it is not too bad. Cooked and sealed, cryovac process. 2 legs with all the sauce. Just heat for 15 minutes at 190 in oven. Can be microwaved .Two meals for me as my cook does not like duck. With homemade potato salad and pasta. Avai...

My grey water tank sensor is beginning to give strange results such as 3/4 full then empty then 3/4 full then empty within a few seconds. I also notice that the flow from the tank is slower than previously. I am going to change the tap at the end of the grey water line to a larger one as it seems to be a narrowin...

Our next trip is to Reflections holiday park Cudgegong river near Mudgee for 6 nights over Easter. Looking f...
