After five weeks farm sitting at Delungra - a heard of Braham cattle, a mob of Dorpler sheep, milking a jersey cow called Yvette, collecting eggs from various chooks, feeding Dougal the deaf dog and Moggie the mongrel cat, we are on the move. We move out of our cosy farm house back into the caravan (tha...

We now need to buy a jack for our new second hand van. Have been suggested either Ko jack or a Trail a Mate? Any thoughts. We purchase a 16.6' Goldstream off roader, tare about 1890 and has a lift spot (for the use of a better term) (you can see I am very technically apt) behind the wheel just under the body.!!...

We arrived at Gnoorea Point WA (40 mile beach) about 40Km south of Karratha yesterday. It's a spot we have visited off and on over the last 12 years. There's not a lot there but fishing can be fruitful and it's a pleasant camping area right on the coast, where many have spent up to 3 months during the wint...

Save all your old toothbrushes, green and yellow pot scourers, etc. Can be used for scrubbing footwear and anything else that doesn't need clean water, plus nooks and crannies around the wheels. Use you old dishwash water and have a good old scrub. I've just done my (foot) thongs. Came up well.
