Winnebago Wilderness : any feedback?
(Preview)
Hello future friends We are about to hit the road for the first time and are eying off a 1998 Winnebago Wilderness in great condition with 89k for just under $ 70000. Any thoughts ? Has anyone owned or has any experience with these old girls? Built on an Isuzu NPR 300 they're probably bombproof but how are...

New to this caravan stuff
(Preview)
Hi All; I have been a happy camper all my life. Tents , that is. About 6 years ago my wife had some knee issues, no more tent for us. We purchased a hard floor camper, an old CUB, but with some loving care and new canvas, the perfect getaway camper. Roll forward 6 years, we have decided to think about the BIG LA...

Slide on campers
(Preview)
Does anyone have any experience with slide on campers. As we are hoping to travel 2021 onwards. We have limited funds and were looking at replacing our sadan with a small campervan because neither of us are into towing and I like the idea of not having to set up camp, but then we really need (When not trave...

Necessary Changes to our rig
(Preview)
After 15 years of use our Annex / Awning was a tad tired and starting to wear badly. An Aussie Traveler set up which has served us well. But being a bit more decrepit now and the need for a ladder to set up and pack up was a bit un-nerving. So we had a Care Free Awning fitted with the Aussie Traveler walls adapte...

My rigs over the years
(Preview)
It's raining today so can't do much. I thought I'd put together a collection of my rigs over the years. My tow vehicles have been petrol jackeroo, commodore, diesel rodeo, & BT50 ( 220,000 klm & still going strong.) The oztrail camper lasted a few vans. It was a good overnighter & went a few...

Our little "Big Kev" is a 16ft 2003 Viscount Newport with all the bells and whistles we'd ever need. Our little van has all the mod cons like air-con, combo bathroom, washing machine, large fridge/freezer and even the kitchen sink! We camp both CVP and Freecamped a little and loved doing Sydney to Melb...

M S A brandThese are a lot smaller than Clearview when closed which was a big issue for me with an already wide LC 200. No chance to test towing, thanks to the big C...a , but a 50km drive in all positions seemed pretty good. The mirror head rotates as well as extension. -- Edited by Craig1 on Thursday 16th of...

My New Vanport.

After moving to Mt Barker 4 months ago, finally got my shed built with a caravan carport attached. It has a dedicated 15 amp GPO, 2 clear skylights to trickle charge the solar all day long. The door is facing the house, up a couple of steps, so loading is straightforward from the laundry. Cheers Bob ...

Old tug gone - sad but hopefully glad
(Preview)
We have a new 8 year old tug now replacing our ever reliable super good off road Nov 1996 build 80 Series DX Toyota Land cruiser vehicle which had a major engine failure at 402,000k. The Discovery 4 SE is 2011 build and has so far towed superbly and is of course a dream to drive.
