Hi traveler's. Ive been warned off the murrumbateman Rd to bungendore pulling a 196 viscount. (Witha ranger) From looking at hema maps and Google etc I cant see why. Has anyone traveled this with a van? Would be a heck of a lot easier/quicker than going through Canberra. Cheers TIA

Hi all. Seeking information on the condition of Cooma Road from Cooma to Braidwood. I believe some part of it is unsealed? Is it narrow with lots of curves; hilly/steep ascents and descent etc? Flood damaged etc. Any information re this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Thinking of coming home from Broken Hill by what Google Maps shows as the most direct route - through Menindee, Ivanhoe (probably overnight), through to Hillston and Griffith. Can anyone please tell me what the roads are like? We will be in a Toyota Kluger AWD, not a 4WD. Ralph

Currently in Monto and was going to head east via Kalpowar and back towards Gin Gin however the road signs say unsuitable for caravans. Locals I have spoken to say it shouldnt be a problem. Has anyone driven it or got any updates?

I see that the flyover bridge linking the Golden Highway to New England Highway for east bound traffic is soon to open. This was a pretty ordinary intersection with trucks bearing down in both directions. Has anyone travelled on this new bridge as yet?
