Texas - what a great spot.
(Preview)
I've just spent the last 4 days down at the free camp at Texas on the Dumaresq river with 8 or 9 of the grandkids and what a great place. You camp right on the river or further back if you desire with plenty of room. Lots of firewood within walking distance, skip bins at the entrance and a free camper friendly...

If you're travelling up through Wongan Hills on your way to another adventure, consider a stopover at this town .The cafe has a good selection of sit down meals, take aways and a variety of tempting sweet stuff. I had a dinner there last week,...

Waldrons Swamp rest area 6km north of Moruya NSW south coast
(Preview)
The above rest area has been well used over the last few weeks. If it's wet, there is a great bitumen area which gets you away from the mud and overhead trees. But also shady area (smaller) if that's what you like.
